I’m doing a little happy dance that these two goals are crossed off the good ol’ 101 list:
67. Rearrange the furniture
and
87. Buy Mike a watch that fits
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, than check out this post to read my 101 goals that I made last year for the next 1,001 days. Some are big, some are little, and they are all there to help me get going!
I was planning on showing a before/after photo mashup of the guest room, but I’m finding that I may not have ever taken a “before” shot! Me? Not take a photo of something? There must be some mistake. But for now, you can see what it looks like presently:
Wesley just loves to pose. He is the perfect dog for me.
Here’s how it happened: Mike was taking a nap one weekend afternoon, and I just got a hankering to change things around a bit. Wesley loves looking out our living room window, and so I thought it would make far more sense to put his kennel in front of our office window. So… I scootched things around and the whole room looks different! I think it’s brighter this way, but perhaps it’s all in my head. (The desk used to be in front of the window, for a mental picture.)
As for #87, well, that was kind of easy! Mike really wanted this fossil watch, and his birthday was coming up, and my parents were looking for something to get him for said birthday… I do think it still counts to check this off the goal list. I was the hands and feet of the operation, after all!
