As I mentioned in this post a little while back, we are so thankful to be brand-new homeowners! Of course, with that comes moving. Yikes! What a stressful, crazy, potentially unorganized process! Thankfully, my dad flew out from Missouri just in time for the move. He is a packing and moving master! Somehow, I didn’t manage to take any “in-progress” photos of the move, but I have some “before and after” shots of the inside of our new house (or as you see here: before, messy, and after).

The stress of not knowing where anything is, added to being surrounded by mess, was so much worse than I had anticipated. Thankfully, we have things more in order now!
Here’s the guest room/office:
And finalized-ish:

Here it is from the other direction:

You’ll notice we painted the bedrooms! I was so excited to find a beautiful gray called “Nimbus Cloud,” and paired it with this really fun accent: ”Sahara Shade.” I called Mike and told him, only to hear him say: “…you mean you didn’t get any blue?” so I remedied that with painting two walls the light shade of blue you see in the photos above.
Come to think of it, painting an accent wall sounds familiar:
56. Paint an accent wall in our home
Check and done!! Man, I love knocking things off that 101 list!

Mike loved the blue, and I loved the yellow, and the opposites are growing on us both. The gray was a winner, hands-down! Mmm… so soothing and yummy.
I’ll leave you with one more pic of Wesley’s little side yard:
