I met Jessica through a mutual friend several months ago when I was looking for a realtor in Durham. Well, it was my lucky day! Not only did we find our dream house, but we made a wonderful friend in the process, too! She knows her way around Durham like you wouldn’t believe, and can give you great insights on all the delightful, unique traits of this place. She and her husband, Joel, spent an afternoon with me for a portrait session, and what a delightful time we had!
We started off at their place, with some pictures including their precious dogs. I’m all about keeping the canines in the photos, as any faithful blog reader would know about me… hardly a week goes by without a photo of our Wesley creeping in on the blog!
They even set up this obstacle course where the boys can run and jump and get lots of exercise. It was awfully entertaining!
We moved out to their porch, which had some lovely (and sexy) light:
We got to go around and visit parts of Durham that they love, and even took a few photos on top of a parking garage that has a view of the Durham skyline. Not bad!
Mmm, Durham. There’s no place like it! Jessica and Joel, thank you for letting me have a glimpse of your life, and for showing me this city in a new light!
