Meet Kimmi & Sean:
These two amazing people got married this month, and I was honored– and I mean honored– to take their wedding photos. Kimmi’s been a friend of mine for a long time, and the minute I saw her and Sean together here in North Carolina, I knew that they were so perfectly matched. They truly bring out the best in each other, and I’m thankful for their friendship.
Kimmi got her hair done at Wavelengths, where they did a stellar job!
The bridesmaids’ bouquets were actually made by Kim’s friend and bridesmaid, Bonnie. Awesome job! Kimmi’s bouquet and the large arrangements were beautifully done by 9th Street Flowers.
Their ceremony was in Raleigh at Millbrook UMC. The church had a lot of history, as well as beautiful surroundings. They had the most unique ceremony that included a footwashing. It was so beautiful and Spirit-filled!
Kim’s parents had a great surprise waiting for them after the ceremony:
Now THAT’S a pretty sweet ride! Their reception was at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. That’s right… there were dinosaurs there. Before going inside, I had a great chance to hang out with the wedding party and take some fun photos.
Inside the museum, the atmosphere was so fun and quirky! It’s not often you have cases of reptiles only a matter of feet from your party… and did I mention the dinosaurs?!
The toasts were beautifully sweet, rich with emotion and fond memories. One of my favorite parts of a wedding!
…and then there was dancing.
Kimmi & Sean, thank you so much for having me take your wedding pictures. It was a JOY. I love you both and am so incredibly happy for you!
