It’s hard not to love a destination wedding… especially when you’re at the all-inclusive Secrets Resort just south of Cancun, Mexico! Katie and Aaron chose to make it official on the white sandy beaches at the gorgeous resort, and I think all their friends and family were doubly pleased– first to be present for such a beautiful, love-filled ceremony, and also to be in such a lovely place!
Secrets has an awesome spa, and there Katie was able to get all spruced up for the big day– complete with real flowers in her hair!
Each detail of Katie and Aaron’s wedding was unique to them and beautiful. I simply love this peacock pin that Katie had in her bouquet– it is a special family heirloom!
While Katie was slipping into her dress with her mom and sister, Aaron had a few minutes to get ready and hang out with the guys. His friends were all there, ready to celebrate– complete with cigars!
Katie’s dad kept a sweet tradition of putting a penny under the bride’s shoe. So sweet!
Before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, which only matched the flawless beauty of the love shared.
As the sun disappeared, the REAL party began– the reception was full of beautiful words, toasts, and TONS of dancing!
