It’s shameful. I am MONTHS behind on posting 101 progress, and it took an inspiring (and reminding!) blog post from my friend Thunder to get me back on track. With the busyness of the season, personal blog posts have suffered… especially when it comes to my 101 list. Looking through it, I am finding that TONS of things have been checked off in the last three months! Like this:
83. Perform a song with Mike
…which was completed while we were doing this:
6. Take another road trip
Mike and I went to a friend’s wedding in Atlanta back in August to sing during their ceremony, and of course celebrate with the happy couple! It was such a joy getting to sing with Mike for the first time in front of other people. We even got to bring Wes on the trip!

10. Stay at a B&B in North Carolina
…where I knocked this one off:
62. Get a massage
Mike and I decided to go to the Carolina Coast for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary (also back in August). We stayed at the Aerie in New Bern, and just LOVED it! If you’re ever in the area, GO. They will treat you right! New Bern is such a cozy, walkable town and is only about 45 minutes away from the ocean. That made it win-win: no crazy beach tourist traps, but we still got to hang out by the sea. While there, we also visited some friends in town from the Bahamas! What a trip! (Unfortunately, I didn’t bring my camera on that trip, so no photos.)
That massage just might have to happen again before the 1,001 days are over! Getting massages are one of my favorite things in the world. I hadn’t had one since the week of my wedding, and it was gloooorious.
