When Shane and Jaime asked me to come back to Hope Town to photograph their wedding, I was floored. Shane said it was the only thing he asked for! What an honor it has been to document the wedding day of two beautiful people.

They chose to have their wedding and reception at Watermark, a gorgeous house in Hope Town. Jaime arrived early with her ladies to get ready beforehand:

Before we knew it, it was time to walk down that sandy aisle! Jaime was stunning, and a beach wedding couldn’t have been more perfect for these two. I loved how everyone present was able to stand close to the couple– no chairs, just lots of love surrounding Shane & Jaime.

(THIS is what I love to see on a wedding day: true celebration!!)
We took advantage of the great light and beautiful scenery to grab a few shots before the party was in full-swing.

Then it was time to eat and have a blast!! Shane and Jaime had a true Bahamian wedding: dozens of people from all over the island brought amazing dishes and pitched in! Let me tell you, this food is not like anything you could find anywhere else… (my favorite of which is the baked macaroni!)

If you noticed a couple of photos ago, Watermark has a beautiful pool. Well, it’s a pretty safe bet that when a pool is around, this WILL happen by the end of the night:

So much life filled the evening, and even I got swept away on the dance floor! It’s pretty darn contagious with these folks. I absolutely love them all.

Shane & Jaime, words cannot express how much joy filled me to join you both on your wedding day as your photographer and friend. I hope you enjoy the photos a portion as much as your new life together!! Make sure you check out the slideshow, too:
