Here are a few responses to some common questions about your wedding day photos. If you have more questions, you can always drop me a line at mary{at}daylight-photography{dot}com.

Where should I get ready?
There are many options for places to get ready for your special day that beat out the ol’ church basement. A bed & breakfast room, your home, or any place that you feel comfortable (with lots of light!) would be great alternatives that leave you feeling relaxed and getting great photos.

What’s this “First Look” I’ve been hearing about?
Many brides in the last few years have been opting to see their husband-to-be before the wedding in a special setting called the “First Look.” About 2 hours before the ceremony, he waits in a shady spot under a tree with his eyes closed while you approach, and voila! You get to share a beautiful, private moment– and the photos are fantastic! It gives you the chance to spend as much time as possible with your beloved guests after the ceremony. (Side note: my husband and I did the “First Look” at our wedding and love love love the images captured by Amy Enderle at SilverBox Photographers!)

How long do I have to wait before I get to see the photos?
After a wedding, your edited proofs will be uploaded to a gallery online within 3 weeks. There, you will have the ability to view and purchase prints, albums, and even the digital files! I am also happy to work with you on custom album design and packages.
