This month’s portraits of Jude happily coincided with a trip to the local pumpkin patch! We had a delightful time, and Jude seemed plenty entertained just by smacking the pumpkins and playing in the grass.
This month, Judah has been increasingly trying to crawl forward. He can push himself backward, push himself up to sitting, but can’t quite get the forward motion right. He babbles a lot, making sounds like “dadadada” (but I refuse to believe that it’s his first word!). He reaches for toys, but just as happily will reach to bang on things that make fun noise, such as the box of wipes. Crinkling paper is another favorite hobby of his these days. He will stand if you’re holding his hands, too! Most of the time, though, he’s pretty content to sit and grin at you.
Still no teeth yet, but I think they’re coming soon! Stay tuned…
See more pics of our boys here!
P.S. The pumpkin patch we visited was called Pumpkins, Etc. and they didn’t charge admission! They’re up in Platte City, but it’s worth the drive!
